Do you like the Copenhagen bed?

The design is ok but we are looking for something that is very sturdy as well. Since the bars in the back only go up a bit of the headboard I think that's giving us concern. Open to beds from all over though!

I'd define lifestyle things first..for example I read in bed, almost exclusively, so while I'll make do with everything if needed, my first choice would be always upholstered headboard.

You know how you live-what you'd prefer in your bed?

design wise-I'd repeat wood, or do simple streamlined upholstered bed..many sites have good to gorgeous options. from West Elm(which I actively dislike lol considering them overpriced..but the lines are good) to even recently Anthropologie that started carrying enormous amount of different furnishings to ...you name it

the one from Anthro I mean(have no idea of your budget..would be too pricey for me, but I like it)

West Elm(they have several styles that i can see with your furniture, easily, but this is my favorite)

thanks! Just wondering, do you think pecan wood would look good mixed with walnut wood? That is what we are doing for the nightstands and dressers.

Sure, you can blends woods, I find it more interesting. Here's a ton of linear beds and check out CB2 for more ideas. beds

Thanks for the suggestions! Any thoughts on these?

Berkley

Perth

Chapman

My worry about the Perth is that the wood is a chesnut finish...which I worry will look too red next to walnut. Thanks for your help!

I like the Piper wood panel bed.

I like the upholstered headboard one.

I think the Chapman is beautiful and I don't usually care for upholstered headboards.

My son has the Copenhagen bed with no problems. How many pieces of furniture will you have in the room and what woods will they be? Dresser, chest, night stands? Maybe it would be nice to break up all that wood with an upholstered headboard with no wood.

We have their Wyeth bed for one of the bedrooms. It simple, but at the same time it would bring some softness with the upholstery

I believe you meant the Wyatt bed and I think that would be a good choice.

We at A. Peltier Interiors think that an upholstered headboard would go really well with the walnut dresser. I am leaning towards the Chapman in the Summer Linen. A taupe linen is such a great neutral and you can always add patterned sheets or pillows to brighten the room up! This is an example of classic upholstered headboard that we have used in our clients homes before and they always love it. Good luck!
