Why don't contributors answer questions??

I have several pics in ideabooks with questions from me or others that are going totally unanswered. Are contributors notified when there's a question about their pic? If so, I wonder why post if you're not even going to answer 1 or 2 questions??

Hi there, Yes, the person that uploaded the photo is notified when there is a new question on a photo on their profile. Some pros are definitely better than others about answering questions about their work.

Were you wondering about photos in general or about photos that are shown in the featured ideabooks on the site?

I guess photos in general. I've been interested in some of the products featured in photos I added to my personal ideabooks ... I, and others, have asked questions and no response. Thank you for your prompt response!

Some pros get started on Houzz without realizing the time commitment involved in keeping their content fresh, participating in discussions and answering questions. Very common issue.
