(adding, yes the house is 2 colors of yellow, we were thinking of going with a new yellow but it was too green, and now i feel like a complete change).

the door is mostly glass... with an inset blind in the glass, so there isnt a lot of door to paint. its like this..

White is nice and kind of seaside-ish. Red would be nice too and pick up your brick chimney.

I would leave it the dark natural wood.

the door? its painted metal now, a dark red but too orangey to go with the new color.

(oh please, someone say lime green.....)

sadly it will coordinate with the color of our pool today. someone dropped the ball at the pool service company...we need an intervention!

I think an red or orange paint would look nice if you want to make the door a focal point. Otherwise, a dark natural wood, or white (to match your trim), would be beautiful.

our house is finished! we're really pleased how it turned out. so far, we think we won't change the paint color of our door. while i would prefer an oranger shade, i'm reluctant to repaint our storm door for a very small color shift. it looks good with the chimney as it is.

yeah that orange is the one i want. when/if we repaint the redder one we have, it will be towards that color.
