Budding soon after transplant, most likely they were already budding because of being rootbound for awhile before transplanting. Now that they have more room they are putting the energy back into growth. Also not sure where you are at, but extreme heat can also cause issues. Can you post pics?

We are in southeast Georgia. I can post a few pics too. The heat makes sense since we had a streak of days end of May in 90s so maybe they're going through a cycle.

Once you post pics it will give us a better idea of what you mean by light colored green.

Starting to look like they are trying to bounce back. Definitely darker color on most and seeing a few buds

Be careful not to over water. Pepper leaves will yellow and drop off if they get too much. Peppers like to dry out a little in between watering so be careful not to kill them with kindness. Also get rid of all the weeds popping up around your pepper plants. Your plants will bounce back much faster without the added competition.

Hab...i added some more topsoil when they were transplanted. It's the same type of topsoil that they were planted in and grew in for 6 montgs over the winter. And yes it is looking like they're all going through new growth with a much deeper green

Paul...that could have been part of the issue since we had ton of rain in the SE mid may over a short period of time. Chipping away at weeds too, especially around the smaller morugas, reapers, bahamian goats, chocolates and otherd started this year that aren't in pic
