SO upset and need to vent. I rarely have a critter problem in my Hosta garden but a rabbit apparently discovered it today.

Gone are:

-Lakeside Paisley Print

-Embroidery

- First Blush

- Mito No Hana

and three freshly planted Astilbe.

That's a $250 Salad this rabbit had for lunch and it ONLY chewed off the stems at the base to munch on the crowns, leaving the stems and leaves.

It sampled a few others, but this rabbit has VERY expensive taste. It didnt touch the $5 Home Depot hosta... OH nooo!! It likes the expensive ones that I have to order, nurture, and give special attention.

Once discovered, I ran out and picked up Liquid Fence and applied it to the entire garden. Hope it works... I don't want to lose anymore. I'm thinking it's too late in the growing season to hope for any to recover.

Right now I need wine... lots and lots of wine. :(
