Seeded lawn

last modified: 9 years ago

I recently built a home and with that comes a new lawn. I prepped the ground and had the yard hydro seeded 2 weeks ago, I was trying to keep up with the heat wave that came to the PNW and keeping it moist using a hose and nozzle 3-4 times a day less on cooler days but would dry rather quickly. So I recently purchased some sprinklers. Some areas are doing good and others, no sign of life thinking the seeds died during the heat wave. Should I give it a week or two then lay down starter fertilizer and seed if I don't see any improvements? Also any tips on weeds during this process? Been pulling them as I see them pop up. But they are winning!
