Is there any air flow around the plants? What's the humidity level? Too wet? How bright is it where it grows?

Yes there is airflow around the plant. I have it on a north facing window sill which I have provided artificial light (3000k) at abt 12" away from the plant at 6 hours a day. I was told that they need bright light. but i am not sure if i am providing too much or too little light.

You want better than 300k, you want around 6500. There are daylight LED bulbs that provide that. And they are not expensive at all, at your local Home Depot or Lowes. You also want to run the light for at least 10-12 hours a day.
