WOW he does not look a day over 75... and his website says he will be 90 years young on August 17th... and he is out there digging up the hostas?! Bravo!!!

Popmama, that was my instant reaction too! I would love to work with him in his garden. I have felt like that once before...when Phil/hostafreak (God bless him, may he Rest In Peace) posted a photo of Ken Marek and himself. Wish I could have met him.

Dick, I stumbled onto Cory's website last fall. A new hosta buddy said she was going this Spring. I was thrilled to ride along. My first visit.

We have some similar taste in hostas. :)

lol, popmama, I thought 3 1/2 hours from my place was long.

Maybe you could get like a school bus and make a route and pick several people up along the way to help pay expenses. Pack lunches to save money. :) Lots of room to bring back purchases.

@Pandora - that is too funny. I saw your pic and thought, hmm, I should've bought some of those. I picked up Bridal Falls from him last year and Earth Angel was the first Hosta I bought after moving to Ohio. I'll have to add Abba Dabba Do and The Shining to my list for next year so I can keep up with you.
