Mites on my citrus

I have these tiny little red things all over my sudachi and my yuzu. Are they spider mites or citrus mites? Do they cause significant damage? I always smash the mites with my fingers but they don't seem to disappear. I have a lot of insecticidal soap, should I use that? But interestingly enough, my yuzu and satsuma mandarin always were and even now right next to each other but my satsuma mandarin doesn't get any mites.. weird

    Spray with horticultural oil, neem or a soap spray.. If you use a soap spray you might have to spray 2 or 3 times. Spray the top of the foliage, the bottom of the foliage and the wood. You should do it quickly, as a mite infestation can cause a lot of trouble. Even a complete and very through wash down with the garden hose can get rid of mites.
