Kitchen Window Configuration

I am keeping all of the original windows in my 1912 house except one in the kitchen. It's in really rough shape and the sill is lower than the height of the counter that will run in front of it.

It's a classic double-sash six-over-six. If I put a shorter window there the lights will be squished into rectangles instead of the current squares.

The kitchen isn't open to the rest of the house so it doesn't have to match exactly but I'd like it to coordinate. Also, because it's behind the counter it would be tough to open the bottom one by leaning over the sink.

Any ideas? No divisions? Different number or shape of divisions?
