wouldn't call that reverting, probably more like sporting.

I have removed a blue eye from my GE. It has happened for the last three years. They kind of sneak up on you. This year I was able to see the blue eye right at the pipping stage. I pulled it out.

i think it came.. allegedly.. from sieboldiana elegans .... so in theory it would revert to that if blue .. but then there is the whole aden issue as well as elegans issue ...
