I have never put up any curtains in my house, mostly because I was holding off until I have each room decorated just right, but I am tired of not having any window treatments. Our windows have beautiful crown mold, which may be enough, but I would love to try make something. Problem is, I do not want to ruin or drill into the moldings. I'm thinking something on a tension rod would be the best bet. Does anyone have any pictures or design ideas? I have lots of pics of stuff I like, but nothing seems to mesh well with the molding I have. Should I place rods outside, or will that be too much? I am not finding anything trying to find pics online. I want something formal, and I would love to have something fairly long, but I have two cats so floor length is not an option.
