No. I have OOR and mine is a true red.

Is a tiny bit darker . It started out almost a very pale pale watermelon color and it's getting a little darker but certainly not red.

I have no idea what this Rose is but it has the most incredible healthy foliage of any Rose I have ever had and there must be 80 to 90 buds on it right now so whatever it is it does get to stay because it's awfully healthy and it's a pretty rose sure isn't dark red though.

Mine fades some in high heat, but not as much as the picture shows. Looks a bit like my Jolie Veranda. Mine OOR is not blackspot resistant, but not the worst offender

Vasue, the color doesn't look that pink it's more of a salmon color although I see that they are getting a little bit darker colored this morning maybe it'll surprise me and turn red you never know

Even Palatine isn't sure what it is. The buds ae small, maybe 2 ". The buds are dark so maybe it will get redder as it matures.

A new OOR (if that's what mine is) bloom now is more red orange. I think new blooms were more true red a few weeks ago. I could be mistaken; it's a new one for me.

The form of the OP's bloom looks different than mine.

I was interested in OOR but if it's not consistently red I'll take it off my wishlist

Your watermelon looks delicious but that Rose isn't even the same color it's more of a salmon color and it's got a small Bloom which the gal at Palatine said that was the right size for the bloom but according to their write-up they've got big blooms. My Jolie has this strange coloration, sort of red/orange/pink and watermelon is really the best description. Great bloomer so far and I like it a lot

Pruned the plant last week as the first flush was done. Will try remember to take a photo when it blooms again

She is on the case but so far she doesn't think it Is oor. She found the very last OoR and said an aged bloom was watermelon color like mine but the leaves were different. So the mystery continues

Now foliage. The only difference I can tell is OOR is darker, bigger, and has a sharper tip

The leaves, the coloration, and the placement of spike all seem identical to my OOR. I think chance you are getting the real deal. Let's see what it looks like in the fall.

so even though the blooms are not dark red like farmer's they are getting darker than they were so my hope is that as this Rose ages a bit they will be a true or red. Right now they're not watermelon color anymore actually more of a deep Coral

I dont still have it and I kind of regret giving it away. It did eventuslly become a gorgeous blue red with ultra shiny leaves.

If that’s a gorgeous true red, then it sounds like OOR.

I asked because mine languished since planting. Last year, it even had PM when an overhanging crape myrtle provided ample spores. I need to have a word with Carl Whitcomb.

But this year it really took off. A good number of canes pushing 6 feet in height, and lots of buds (I think) - it’s become a jungle back there. It’s always been a late bloomer here.
