Cornelia peeking through my day lily. It was very early so not open fully yet but is one of my favorite lilies and I will be dividing and spreading this one around for sure !

My flamenco Rosita is a monster now. It has canes at least a foot and a half taller than me! This is kinda a bad photo as the blooms are heavy with dew but it's such an amazing rose . I rooted a couple as well , and am excited for those ! I mean this rose is better than any knock out .

Sweet bird bath I picked up at an estate sale . Does anyone else enjoy garden item searching at estate/ yard sales ? ive had very good luck this year. My wishing well was $25, this was 20 and I got a cute bunny planter for ten as well as two frogs on a bench for $5. It makes me smile to see them in my garden as well as know they are loved after another gardener passes on .

Finally I have sweet peas blooming! Took forever . Perfect timing though as the clematis had finished its show . I'll try more next year but earlier.

Looks gorgeous lilyfinch. You have a great eye for combo selection and garden treasures. It's so much fun finding great deals. I bet it's a blast walking thru your gardens with your babydoll. Enjoy that time together. I wish I gardened more with my kids but back then I mostly grew veggies with a few flowers and it's quite the opposite now. Lol I loooooove sweet peas. I'm having trouble getting mine to attach to my arbors. I'm thinking the iron is to wide. They look beautiful in bouquets. Thanks for sharing!

I accidently broke a piece of my hybrid Penstemon off. Stuck it in a semi-shaded pot of a young hydrangea 2 weeks ago and it still looks good!

Is that a white obediance plant? What is the lavender beside it? Annual statice? TIA.

I smelled my wollerton yesterday after you commented and it smells like old lady perfume to me haha. That's the only description I have. Several of them smell like that to me but lots smell divine. What's your description? Just plain stinky? Haha.

Totoro we really do grow a lot of the same!! Ann , my jubilee is only a couple months old and about 2by 2 right now. It was a bare root from a nursery so I think it's off to a great start !

Irisgal , I'm going to try that to get more penesetum ! It's such a pretty purple . And the bees love it so bonus points there! i think that purple by the obedient plant is a Veronica but I could be very off! I buy things on clearance at lowes and lose the tags very fast .

April , to me it smells like rotten fruit . I don't know why! Ha my favorite for smell is st Cecilia, it smells like an old lady perfume but I rather like that :)

Lilyfinch, great photos and your garden looks so healthy. How nice! Love those with landscape in the background (I always say that about your photos. :-))

I also pick up garden art, too - at garage sales, etc. Two of my neighbors have or currently demo-ing houses so I've been taking some things from those properties to put in my garden. (With permission - haha) I have some garden chairs and a wooden chair from one's home that I plan on priming and painting a bright color to put in the garden. I have gravel, pebbles and flagstone from another house that are all in the garden. I think it's kinda cool that they know I've re-used materials/furn from their old homes. It is a nice feeling to think about how others enjoyed garden items and now we get to enjoy them. Perhaps your daughter will enjoy some of the art in her own garden in generations to come!

Towanda - I also redid a chair ! I did it in white , I hope to change out the display seasonally so I wanted to keep it simple. I did however pick up some fab adirondak chairs and painted them aqua ! I love the color.

I've always wanted to paint my front door this color and this is a good way to use that color since it won't work with my red brick home.

I love your chairs Lilyfinch! That's what I was thinking -- a potted plant on the seat of the chair. I absolutely love the color of the adirondak chair. And, your sweetie pie is adorable. :-) I have that aqua in my garden in a different application that I'll share when I can...

Your garden is looking fabulous! Everything is looking more mature & filled in. Love so many of the roses, but I also like seeing your other perennials mixed in too. Your daughter is precious & I'm glad to hear she is a little helper. Nice job on the garden finds. I'm hopeless at incorporating found items in the garden. I do have my eye on a giant sculpture at the garden centre. But I will need to create a whole new bed to incorporate it. I also had visions of painting my front door a wicked fun colour - teal or a rosey orange. But we bought a house with red brick too! So it's white, black or natural shades here.
