I would leave one or two on the mother plant until you feel they are large enough to root on their own. I have/had this same plant. The colors are striking & sometimes it produces a bloomstalk with its sport, Psychedelic Moon, I believe it is called.

I agree with Terrilou. Choose one or two suckers and remove the rest.

Thanks for your comments. That's what I will do. I will leave a couple. I also have Psychedelic Moon that just has one bloom opened up. Very striking. Now I hope that plant has suckers but not yet.
