Return it. I kept mine and I am so sorry that I did. My sons are 6 feet tall and I am 5"9. No one sits in this chair EVER. It is just too low to the ground. I plan on giving it to Habitat for Humanity. Not one single person has sat in it for more than 5 minutes. It is very uncomfortable. I am hoping that someone will enjoy it in a child's room.

It does look a bit small, but I think I'd live with it for a while. It does need to be pulled out of the corner though.

Has the chair been bad? Why is it stuck in the corner? Maybe it should face the corner and think about what it did wrong.

Don't live with it so long you can't return it. It doesn't look very comfy. What other furniture do you have?

Return chair, wrong scale. 9+ items on mantel. Not including clock. Please remove the clock and 4 items from mantel. You could layer some art or frames on mantel instead of clock. Less is more. I will post some ideas. If you keep chair pull it out of corner. At least to roughly edge of fireplace. Bbl

I like the color of that chair, however, and if you keep it, add that color to art over the fireplace.

Keep it simple and clean. A starburst mirror would look so much better than the clock. come in all styles, finishes and price points.

If you use candles and they are beefy like the ones you have you need fewer. They used 3 think ones here and 3 tall thin vases and one small dark box. Very classic.

this is more of a "layered" look, and offset for interest. Large mirror, overlaid slightly with gold and black framed piece and 3 smaller pieces of interest with more gold and black. Repeating the colors you want is good and black always adds a touch of interest.

Round mirror, two bulky vases different heights, a box and two small votives probably. They also hung candle sconces. I would remove the scones I don't think they needed them. Also note the drapery. I think you would benefit from some drapes something like these even if just one panel on each side of window. The sheers look a bit lost. Sorry, if I am giving more advice than you asked for, just sometimes can't help myself. Wanting your space to sing! It looks really nice, just tweaking here.

Take the lanterns off the mantel, and set them on the floor with largest, tallest one on the left and the next tall one layered in front of it, and slightly to the right. Those repeat your blue (at least on my monitor) and would contrast nicely with your floors.

Yes, it's way to small. Not seeing the rest of the room it's not clear what the purpose of the chair is.

The chair would be nice in a guest bedroom if it fits.

I do think the chair is a bit small in scale. It kind of gets lost back there in the corner. The color is pretty, but I would keep my eye out for something a bit bigger.

Just from a glimpse of the corner of your couch, it looks like a fairly substantial piece so for a that reason - you should keep to scale. As well, from a usage perspective, I would have chosen something more comfortable and practical. Whatever you chose, pull into the room a bit and I would remove the 2 boxes on the wall and add a floor lamp and a small table. Maybe you could place the basket by the fireplace (and reduce the number of candlesticks on mantle) and move the ladder to the other side of the tv...so the corner looks simple and cozy and more of a feature vs an afterthought.
