Thank you. I already have them, and they've survived the winters and late freezes and bloomed. I was considering moving them to another area that needs a little more height.

I figured they've been out a few years now so someone might be able to give me an estimate of their size.

Eventually you will lose them in a very cold winter, or series of winters, but enjoy them while you can!

sometimes i write all these words .. and them someone like dave comes along and sums it up in a line and 1/2 .. and i wonder to myself.. just how much of a coffee buzz where you on.. when you wrote that useless tome of 700 words too many .. lol

Lol. I figured as much. I wonder if they have a shot if I put them in containers. I could overwinter them nestled somewhere close to the house in the shrubs, on an open breezeway, or the garage.

In containers they would freeze to their death much sooner. Sorry! I had a FrostProof that did well for many years and got about three feet high - and much wider.

Then the vortex years came along. Died to the ground. It might have come back but looked so bad, I removed it. If you can throw a tarp over it for the coldest spells, it might make it in the ground.
