Help Balancing the washer?

This is a mechanical type question, and I am hoping the Laundry Room folks can help! I am trying to balance my (ancient) LG Tromm front loader. It wiggles and jiggles itself all over the place when its trying to spin. I have put the little jelly cups underneath the feet, and do understand that each leg is adjustable. But ... is there a better approach or method to getting it right? Such as level front, then back, then diagonally? Clearly I just can't get this right and my laundry room is taking a pounding. Thank you!

Absolute bubble-level is not as important as the weight equally supported at all four corners. Get rid of the "jelly cups" and adjust the legs properly. Probably not necessary to do all four. Pick one of the front two (for easier access) and keep adjusting it slightly up/down as needed until the vibration and walking is minimized.

What kind of floor is it on? Concrete pad? Wood joist? That can make a difference too. If it is on wood joist in the middle of the span, it can be the bouncy floor that is causing the issue.

Sheet vinyl over subfloor over joist (main floor with full basement). However that said, laundry room is approximately 8' wide and about 14' long. W/D is at one short end, and both long sides and that short end have concrete footing underneath, as it's located at one end of the house,

Sounds like it is at the end of the joist, which is an ideal situation for wood floor. If you cant get it balanced. It could be that you could do some blocking of the joist to make the floor more rigid. For that direction try the remodeling forum.
