@jck90 - thank you! That was my thought as well. Happy to know my line of thinking works. :-)

My son installed the best storm door for my back door. It has a self-storing screen that rolls into the frame when you don't want it, but all you do is slide the glass down when you want the ventilation (no switching out like the full view). Love it!

I have one on my other door like Carol has, but you don't have full view because there is the line across the middle. So on my door like yours I have the full view

Phantom screen. Only there when it's in use.

I have this door - installed very recently. It's a full view when the glass is in, but not when the screen is in. With the screen in it has a white bar across the middle of it (I hate the look of it, but without it someone would put their hand through the screen for sure). The glass and screen are VERY easy to change out (although the glass insert is quite heavy). The two things I don't like are (1) when the door is in the locked open position it will not open all the way - it's probably about 80% open - and (2) the hinge mechanism is VERY strong and it makes the door close quickly and can be difficult to use for kids. My three year old grandson just got his finger pinched in it the other day because of this.

With all that said it is a very well made door and it is much better looking than the other doors I looked at. I would buy it again.
