I have gotten eggs from a fairly small local family farm. Lately for at least 3 weeks in a row, some of the egg whites have been as hard as erasers, whereas egg yolks still semi-liquid when I hard boiled them. I've always hard boil the eggs for about the same length of time. Those troubled eggs I mentioned above were boiled together with other normal ones, which were normal as what hard boiled eggs should be.

My husband and I still ate them, but is it safe to eat those. What happened to those eggs. There was no signs the shells of them looked any different.
