We just removed a cast stone fireplace that was too big and modern for our space. What's left is beautiful, 1925 vintage terra cotta tile. However, the fireplace is smallish and the wall is pretty bare.

The rest of the room contains original oak bookcases, iron windows with oak trim, an antique dry sink being used as a tv stand, etc.

We're looking for ideas of what to put above the fireplace. Vintage mantel? Iron ledge? I am not willing to paint or cover the tile - I'd like to make it a focal point. Finding a vintage mantel that works with the existing wood, seems challenging.
