Brown Patch returns every year

My lawn gets brown patch every year. I have removed soil 6" deep and re-seeded several times but every year it returns. Have TruGreen treating my yard . This year is

the worst yet. Read about the corm meal treatment. Does it really work? Do you apply

after the disease has appeared? How long do you wait after fungicide has been applied. Very tired of working hard for nice lawn and this disease destroying it.
