Sorry to hear that kublakan... Best wishes!

Yikes! Your garden is lovely though.

So sorry. I planted two roses early Spring here and "Jessie Hildreth" didn't make it through the freeze/thaw weather we had through April here. "Atmore Lamarque" did make it with an initial setback. I might have used too strong root stim liquid watering them in, too. I just glug, glugged into my 2 gal watering can and filled it with water. I measure now, 2 ounces (half strength) per 2 gal water and have not had problems. I'm still not quite sure "Jessie" will like it here planted out, but I ordered another because he is so gorgeous and that one is potted now.

I regret potting up my fave roses . I have to be on a trip for a month and have no time to establish drip irrigation .. they will be dependent upon sprinkler. :(

I wonder about a timer/ hose combo my husband says costs $20 rabainsz, or get a human waterer.

I have the same arbor in my garden Adrian!

I'm sorry to hear about your Cinco De Mayo. Such a good rose too. Hopefully it will recover quickly. I had a scepter d'Isle that had this issue (my gardeners got too close with weed killer) and it survived. It took a bit, but it did bounce back. Good luck.
