What to do about odd-size vanity?

Hello fellow Houzzers, I am trying to update 2 baths in a rental property: one full bath and one powder room. In each of the baths, vanity is presenting me with most issues because it's non-standard size and and it's set into a niche. Each has a mirror that fills the entire back wall of the niche and light fixture above. All fixtures are original (which is over 30 years old) and needing a refresh.

Since it's a rental property, I'd like to do the updates without moving any walls or plumbing. Ideally, I'd like to find vanities that fit the existing space; if not, I'd like to figure out what I can put in that will still look good. Both need to be vanities with storage, not pedestal sinks.

I am attaching a basic drawing of each bathroom to show how they are laid out (the drawings are not entirely to scale). Help with design for the vanities, and places to buy inexpensive vanities (preferably with integrated countertops) will be very much appreciated!

Ikea kitchen cabinets in 36"+15" with fillers for the first bathroom and I believe Ikea has 42" bathroom cabinets. It looks like you have 24" depth for the first bathroom. If you want a 48" cabinet, they also have a 48" vanity in their bathroom section. Many come with sinks and countertops or you could source your own.

Vanities can be made out of anything these days. Be flexible and repurpose something. Look at the stuff(not to buy) on the Restoration Hardware site.

Vanities come in many sizes...You can have a custom sized counter to fit the space. Vanity could come up short by a few inches and put up a filler board or leave.

Simple. Go to any cabinet retailer. Your first vanity needs a 48" cabinet, with 2 3" fillers cut to 2" in the field. I suggest a vanity with drawers to either side of a central sink compartment. 1-2K depending on what quality cabinet line you choose.

The second needs either a standard 42" partial overlay door style vanity (yes, that's a standard size) or, it needs a full overlay 36" with 2 3" fillers for the sides. Measure carefully, because you won't have any way to fix this should it be slightly larger than 42". Unless you also order 1 6" filler as a just in case reserve. Again, 1-2K.

Then go to a stone yard for granite. Maybe remnants. Maybe not. With 2 vanities and splashes, you may need to much stone to fit a remnant. That is also probably 1-2K, depending on your sink choices and faucets that you choose.

If you want to go really inexpensive I would get a 42" freestanding leaving 5" on each side for cleaning (4" minimum is required in some areas), and a 36" for the other bathroom.

Those are both standard sizes. There are some decent all-in-one wall mounts with storage.

Please point me to them! I can't seem to find anything in those sizes. I suppose I should mention that they should be contemporary style, and I already mentioned "reasonably inexpensive" - it is a rental after all :)

This is 52" wall mount, only one left at Wayfair $1280, includes mirror, top and sink. You need to buy a faucet.

There are several 42" on Houzz. This one at Wayfair is $700. I don't know how to copy the Houzz ones.

@suzyq53 - Thank you! Wayfair, yes! When I need to buy something, I get stuck on Amazon and Home Depot (and Houzz). I forget there are other sites to shop at. Much appreciated!
