Beach house art advice.

Love this print on canvas but will this modern print go with my more traditional kitchen? It would go on that large blank wall. And you can't tell from the pics but my pendant lights do have blue in them. TIA!!!!

It's more modern than the chairs and the pendants but maybe it's time to upgrade those too? If you are attracted to this kind of art (it is nice) then maybe your taste is moving in a more modern direction.

Yes, I think it will look great in your dining area!

Thanks so much Truey and Corie. Truey, looking to upgrade some things down those line. Just moved in and although I thought I'd want to rip out those pendants right away they are sort of growing on me. I'm liking all the color they provide. But I do think I will go for it with this artwork. It is modern but who says you can't mix a little, right? Thanks so much again.

I vote to go for it.

It's great. Can you share the source? It's exactly what I didn't know I was looking for.

How big is that wall? I think it's a cool piece for a beach house, but is it undersized for that wall? The print is 60".

If it makes you feel good do it. I think it would look nice.

Thanks everyone!! Deinohio, it's called "goldfish" by Norman Wyatt. Birch lane has it & so does overstock. Lolauren, I'm not at the house right now so I don't know the exact wall measurement but my table is 75 inches long if that helps you picture how it might look. Anyone else think it might be too small?? I do plan on doing a console table with something above it on that wall to the right (where the brown stool is)

I am going to vote “no” to your art choice.

Your pendants are a Tiffany, mid-century style.

    Try something like this, instead.

If you love the canvas then use it..especially if it evokes happy, sunny feelings. I think I would consider changing out your pendant shades for some orange or blue glass globes. Bubble globes would be so cute. I might suggest not placing a table on the other wall. Too many tables. Play up your dining table with woven table runners and a simple table arrangement. Unless you use all your seating daily, you could scoot the dining bench on that short wall and table/chairs closer to the art wall. Good luck.
