Can I lay a wood floor in the same direction of the studs if I have 3/4 inch underlayment? The direction going from cabinet wall to cabinet wall would look so much better since the kitchen is a long galley 12 feet by 14 feet .....Or maybe the design of the wood going from entrance to back wall going with the cabinets would look better? We have tiger wood bamboo flooring so the design is very bold, which is why it seems to be a bigger deal than usual, thanks again for any and all comments!!! No pictures at this time, kitchen is presently down to studs.
