That's how most determinates will grow. Making other suckers, usually after the first 'batch' is fully grown. I did have one tomato that was 100% determinate, I don't remember how it was called, it didn't make any more suckers. I think that's quite rare.

The biggest difference is that the indeterminates never stop growing each stem, while determinates, as you said, end with a flower cluster.

Gold Nugget is usually listed as a determinate true, but its growth habit is often noted as really more like an indeterminate, a compact-in-size indeterminate.

Not really. I have seen 2 trusses often and one person last year I think posted about one with 3 and then more leaves at the end. As you can see from the length of the lateral branch compared to the rest of the plant, your's is more of a genetic mutant. ;-)
