Determinate questions

I don't have much experience with determinate varieties.. My understanding is that their growing tip ends with a fruit truss and they only have a limited number of stems, and once they ripen tomatoes over 3-4 weeks they're done. But my Gold Nugget seems to continue to grow with many trusses from the same stem and "suckers" continuously forming. It feels like they will keep going just like an indeterminate?

This other one is a determinate Roma type, I forgot the exact variety. the stems seem to end with fruit trusses on this one, but it also keeps forming new vines so in theory could keep going on? Also is it common for them to have 4 fruit trusses in a row at the end of a stem like this picture?

Thanks!
