Vertical Barrier for Bermuda grass

I have a client that has bermuda grass starting to grow in her backyard from her side neighbor. I have seen that a vertical barrier works but was wondering what I should use. I was looking at bamboo barrier but its expensive. Is there a cheaper vertical barrier?

Sooner or latter you'll have to snip it off. It will climb the barrier and flow over the top.

So, instead, "edge" the stuff as you would trim lawn around its edges.

A friendly discussion between neighbors could be helpful also.
