Very pretty kitchen. That dramatic tile is gorgeous contrasting with the stacked subway on the other wall.

    Love it!!

Beautiful. What are the countertops? Are those 9 foot ceilings?

The countertops are quartz from Jerong Marbles. 10 ft ceilings. Originally the contractor didn't want to do the glass boxes on top and leave that space open due to the tall ceiling.

    Pretty!!!

I have a feeling that your pictures are going to become inspiration pictures for many people. Beautiful! Looks like the upper cabs are frosted glass, back lit? Love that. Also really like the paint color. What is it?

You did a wonderful job. Congrats!

Outside the box you did!! And I love it! What a beautiful space. Great job. Have fun cooking :)

@chicagoans The upper cabinets are clear glass. The contractor didn't want to do the upper boxes saying that the ceiling is too high. I'm glad we stuck with the choice. Would look weaker without them. The paint is Plymouth Gray by Kelly Moore. It matches the gray in the marakesh tile and grout color. It's a light shade of gray very pleasant.

Considering J&K cabinets. Can you speak to their quality thus far?

Sean Wang, how do you like your Fulgor Milano range? I am looking at their 600 Series range top, and possibly a wall oven, and I am curious about your experience.

Like Casey above, I'm interested to know Sean if you are enjoying your Fulgor Milano range? I too am considering purchasing one... thanks in advance for any info you can share!

@Karen Haha. I totally missed the questions. We love the Milano range. It does everything we need it to do. No issues for 4 years. The gas oven need some time to get used to because we always had electric oven. Once you get a hang of it, it’s like any other oven. My guess is that you have already done your remodel by this point.
