We bought our house last year and after tipping over our lawn mower from mowing this hillside, we decided to have our contractor rock it so we could landscape it. Now that we are getting to landscaping it we are having difficulties. We have someone coming out next month to see if we can get stairs in here for us and the dog to use, but does anyone have any suggestions for what else to do? Obviously don't want to plant this every year so we need perennials in here. It is on the northeast side of the house, so it gets morning sun and that's about it. Any other ideas about what to do with it would be appreciated. I'm close to sodding again just to make it look better than just an empty rock bed. And the last person that came out said because of our Invisible Fence, sprinkler lines and other utilities running through the area we wouldn't be able to do anything without moving all of those, so any other suggestions than steps would be great too in case this other person says the same thing.
