I would consider the level of access and comfort between the seat height and the tabletop apron so it's not a tight squeeze. Also look at table leg placement so it's not awkward for you when seated.

Please note that the pool table pictured above is probably not the one that we would actually choose. It was just picked as an example to show what we mean.

Those tables are actually made by Canada Billiards. Try and find a local dealer to save some money. These are decent tables, there are (5) sections to the dining top. Also, the overall table dimensions are significantly larger than a standard 8' pool table. They play pretty well, considering it is a compromise. Keep in mind, if you want it to be a regulation height for pool table, the dining top will be slightly higher than a typical dining table. The dining top will measure 33" from the ground.

Another option is the Fusion table, by Aramith, however this is only available in the 7' size. This is another decent playing table made in Belgium. They have many color options.
