San Joaquin Valley CA there is is a lot of citrus groves in the area.

get a granular citrus fertilizer and follow the directions on the label. and whatever you do don't put clorox bleach on it!

I think clorox's tap water may have a very high ph level, probably in the 7 to 8 range. His/her blueberry, strawberry and lime don't look healthy. They don't look dry or underwatered, they look sick from not having enough nutrients. I think the tap water + the alkaline soil is the problem.

Clorox, have you tested your tap water ph level? You could try buying some litmus ph testing trips (for about a dollar on ebay or amazon) and test your tap water ph. So you can determine how much white vinegar to add to your tap water to bring the ph down.

My rainwater has a ph of 5.5 to 6-ish (yellow colour on the ph litmus test strip). I added 30ml (2 tablespoons) of white vinegar to 9 litre of rainwater and that brought the ph down to 4 to 4.5 (dark yellow to orange-ish colour). If your tap water has a very high ph, you will have to use more white vinegar.

Another easy way to get an idea about the ph of your tap water is to Google your water districts water quality report. It normally will give you a bunch of information about the water in your area. These are all averages but you will get more of an idea of where you might be at.

Yea I haven't tested my ph of my water so I'll take a ph test or look it up.
