sticking cast iron skillet

I thought for sure my ancient well used little cast iron skillet was certainly seasoned by now - in fact, I just oiled and baked it a few weeks ago. Put in an egg, with a little olive oil - it stuck like crazy - it's a mess I have to clean now.... Any suggestions to make it slick again?

Pan may have been too hot, eggs need a chance to warm up before they cook.

I prefer butter to oil for cooking eggs in any pan, but especially cast iron.

Try peanut oil for re-seasoning if needed.
