regarding the gravel driveway...Im debating doing a gravel or asphalt driveway. the street im on is dirt/gravel. How did you make your decision to keep gravel for the drive?

There are many pros for having a gravel driveway. They are popular in rural areas because they require little maintenance, maintain the traditional look of the home, and can last a long time since water passes right through it as opposed to concrete or asphalt which will sink and crack.

Don't know the "professional name"....but I think these are "spikes" that break up melting ice.
