What type of spots used?

What type of lights did you use on the ceiling that would give that beautiful illumination to the onyx on the wall, it does seem that the onyx is lighted at the back…but it isn’t! wow!

The recessed lights are square aperture shower lights using MR16 Halogen IR lamps. Halogen light can really bring out the color of objects it lights. Thx.
