Looks good! Do you have a recipe for that stuffing?

Apple-Sausage Stuffing, Pennsylvania Dutch Style

1 lb farmer John sausage or ? cut in 1" pieces(cut after cooking)

1 cp diced bacon...... 2 apples diced( I like red for the color-any will do)

1 lrg onion chopped..................................... 1 cp chopped parsley

1 cp chopped celery........ 1 tsp ea. sage, thyme, poultry season

1pk sliced mushrooms........ 1 pk bread crumbs(Mrs Cubbisons)no cornbread

2 ?? cps chicken broth

salt/ pepper

In large dutch oven fry bacon and sausage(cut sausage up) then add every thing else BUT bread and broth. Saute bacon,sausage, apple, spice etc. mixture for about 5 min then add bread and broth until thick like spoon-able, pour-able oatmeal (may need more broth) Spoon/pour into well greased 2 quart dish Bake 325 for hour or last hour of cooking time with bird. (I use glass baking dish un- covered)

I don't always follow this exactly(exception- would be thanksgiving then I also add nuts) in the picture -no sausage or mushrooms didn't have any.

PS stove top will work for squash
