Wonderful blooms!

the two cattleyas should be easy to match by looking at a few sites, they are mercloned plants sold by the gazillions, look at carmela's, kawamoto, odom's, carter and holmes... etc,..bottom plant is dendrobum aggregatum..

Aaah, that dendrobium!!! So jealous. I've yet to flower mine after several years.

It was a little bigger, but my friend took some from the left. The flowers don't last too long, but they are beautiful when they do.

The first one I rescued from a party I went to. The lady had received it in a floral arrangement along 2 others, and they looked to be dead. She had put it next to the trash. When I went to throw something there, I saw it. I asked it I could take them, and she said yes. I immediately put it on the tree, and it started to come back. I put the other 2 in baskets, they weren't the same. That tree later died, and I put it on a small basket. It has flowered quite a few times since I brought it home.

The dendrobium was planted on a Keitt mango tree. All the orchids seem to love it. I have other mango trees, but that's their favorite. I have the other orchid I posted, the one with yellow and red dots, and the first pink one I posted on the same tree, along with some air plants. They're all doing great on it. The pink one grew so many babies, it broke one of the branches it was on. I gave all those orchids away, because I have more in other places of it.

Curious about when they bloomed? The Den usually blooms in winter. I've never had one bloom in summer.
