I do not know anything about airlayering Jasmine. However, when airlayering trees, it is a good idea to remove some of the leaves. I've heard other people snip them in half. The idea is that the small root ball cannot support all the leaves on the airlayer, leading to dehydration. If you remove some leaves, it will help the plant last long enough for the roots to catch up to the leaves.

Thanks. I already potted it up. I will snip about 50% of the leaves today.

An update - I removed about half the leaves and the buds and potted the plant and it started growing about 10 days later. It turned out to be lush plant.
