I need help picking the right rug

Hopefully the image is good enough to see what I'm trying to accomplish here. I've got 3 different 9'x12' rugs in my cart and I can't decide which one to get and which one would go best to:
1. Lighted up the space, considering that the carpet is dark brown
2. Would go well over a carpet
3. Would complement the furniture and the living room without making any adjustments there

Please help and tell me the reason why you think one rug would be better than the other.

I vote number three. I'm not crazy about the fringe on the first one on top of carpet. Also the fringe is so long I think it will be a pain in real life. And I love the second one but I think it will be too dark on top of the already dark carpet. Love the third one :).

#2 - Will 9x12 fit under the front feet of your furniture? If not, then there may be a trip hazard.

Yes, under all the furniture. I've already considered the trip hazard hence the size of the rug.

I like the second one. It has some color and personality. Otherwise you would have a lot of contrasting whites.

Love the rug.....too bad it doesn't work with the coffee table. I have darkened the table for you, though it should also be turned 1/4 also. Not sure why this seating arrangement is not centered on your fireplace.

I personally love the lighter look of the coffee table which ties in with a few other furniture pieces in there and a couple more to come.

I know, the shape of the living is a bit odd. I don't want to center around the fireplace because that would leave no room for the entry behind the loveseat and our living furniture would not serve its purpose at that point either, gather to watch TV. This living is very much lived in, I have 2 small kids and as much as I'd like it to be magazine perfect, it won't be because I'd rather feel comfortable in it and make it work for us.
