Can you please elaborate on what "From a Stalk" means?

Did it have roots?

How's it doing now?...Is it still planted there as depicted?

Remove the turf from the area around it (at least a foot in diameter). Otherwise, you are making it compete with grass and weeds.

P.S., "from a stalk," Poster is saying that the plant was propagated from a plumeria, stem-cutting (likely without roots at the time).

If you recently took that as a cutting and put it directly in the ground where it is getting watered daily and also in full sun then the biggest issue is if there are no roots there is nothing to absorb water. Watering with no roots will rot the cutting. The other issue is that full sun on a new cutting with no roots will quickly dehydrate the plant. When rooting a cutting bright shade / indirect / dappled light is preferred.

To try and save the cutting it needs to be somewhere not receiving water and full sun. It may be easier to control in a clear water or Gatorade bottle with holes drilled in, then you can see when it forms roots and can transplant in the ground. However, no plumeria likes to be watered daily. I would say 2-3 times a week at most when summer is the hottest. When temps are lower much less and also depends on whether plant is potted or in ground.

Edit to add: also if a plumeria is struggling to root or getting too dehydrated you may want to remove the inflo as it takes a tremendous amount of energy from the plant.
