Yes it does look like rain damage. Was it under something that was causing a direct drip onto it? Don't give up on it yet though, providing the growth point hasn't rotted, it may just pull through.....possibly....maybe....fingers tightly crossed for it.

I didn't move quickly enough during a major storm & some seedlings were disturbed. This one wasn't washed out of its egg carton compartment (since moved into a yoghurt cup), BUT (and I think you have the gift of clairvoyance), an aloe leaf was arching over the egg carton & I think the drip from that was right onto this guy. I've got 12 other bumblebees, so if this one doesn't make it, it will be no great tragedy. But fingers crossed.

Ha, clairvoyance....if only :-) Just passing on the encouragement that I was given when I first started to grow adeniums. We all start at the bottom of the ladder and work our way up, as in lots of ways I guess. Good luck :-)
