No one can tell you how long to run your system. With that schedule, you may be wasting water. Your goal is to moisten the entire root system, not China.

You can determine the correct run-time by running the system for an hour (or whatever); wait for an hour or two; then probe with a trowel to see how deep the water went and how widely it spread.

China needs watering too! ;-)

But you shouldn't have to do it.

Jean is correct. Think roots zone for the mature plants and check if your irrigation time reach that distance. Soil type makes a big difference in how drip works. Sandy soil water does not spread out well. Clayey soil water moves very slowly downward. Best way to test is being a stick in the mud. GL Aloha
