Help me pick bar stools please

Hi folks, I'm wrapping up my kitchen remodel and need to pick bar stools. They'll be the first thing you see entering the kitchen, and I expect them to get a lot of use. So comfort and aesthetics are both important. I'm pretty price conscious after spending so much on the remodel, but I don't want to waste money on something I'm not happy with.

For comfort I'm looking at upholstered stools that swivel (because they'll be bar height). The perfect stool would be a pretty color to break up all the neutral, but it's really hard to find something other than gray and tan.

Here's my kitchen, apologies for all the clutter under the bar. It's a 1915 craftsman bungalow. I struggled to get a photo with colors looking right---they change a lot during the day with all the sunlight. The walls are BM Edgecomb Gray and upper cabinets are antique white.

I like these from Houzz a lot, but hesitate to spend $430 on something hard to return without seeing/sitting in person first.

Four Hands Metro Julie:

These are $300 from Costco:

Pastel Furniture from Amazon $300

West Elm $350. Not sure if the more MCM look is good or bad in my kitchen. Would be fun to get blue.

Sunpan Modern Ariana- this dark gray is $300 at Lamps Plus. Not sure if gray works with the warm tones in my kitchen

What would you guys pick? Other options I should look at?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have an At Home store around you? They have lots and lots of nice ones. So does world market.

People can help you better if you post more pictures.

How many chairs are you getting? The legs on the 4th one down appear to have a wider footprint than the others, so you'd have to allow for that. Might be awkward moving in and out. I don't like the slanted back on that either. I'd prefer a closer fit to the counter with a straighter back. I wouldn't do a tufted chair in there either. That seems kind of fussy for a craftsman. More pics?

I'm planning on 2 stools. The bar is 58" wide (measuring the leg space underneath). Good point about the tufting. I thought something rustic/industrial would be cool-looking but not comfortable for sitting a long time.

Took a few more pics:

I think that last one you posted would look really nice in your kitchen. Can you find one locally to try out? Great kitchen!

Don't forget floor protectors for the legs if that's a wooden floor.

It doesn't look like At Home has stores in California.

The last stool I posted is online only...I like the look too, just think my butt would get sore :)

Seems like no one especially likes the upholstered stools I posted? Here are a few more without the tufting from Wayfair...I wish they'd show pics of the backs!

the ones you posted initially are fine, just not super exciting. I like the laurel foundry one best.

I purchased the cosmopolitan stool from overstock in the lighter linen. I honestly thought these would be temporary but there are actually fine. there are lots of options as far as color. I just bought a leather hide and I'm going to recover them as I'm tired of cleaning the fabric.

What about something like this? It comes in different woods. Looks comfortable.

I really like these Brayden Studio Perrotta swivel stools. I especially like that the foot rest is squared off. There are two choices on upholstery and finish. They are meant to be very comfortable. To me they could work very well.
