Ruby Slippers gets very intense red/burgundy fall coloring that holds a long time. OTOH, my Little Honey gets very little strong fall coloring but it is in quite a lot of shade to prevent scorching of the gold foliage. And that can be the case with the other varieties as well.......the amount of sun they receive will impact the fall coloring. Better in more sun; less in more shade.

I get a mixed shade from 9am-1pm, then shade for 2hours, then mixed sun with splotches of full shade passing across the bed for the next 2 hours. I think that's enough sun, so I would assume based on that, any variety should have the same fall foliage colors ?

Probably but I have not read of anyone comparing the Fall foliage of all varieties. In more shade, I see more wine colors. In more sun, I see more reds.

ok great, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any varieties that were only barely fall interest. thanks!
