Absolutely wonderful colors and beautiful and what a great collection. Unfortunately , due to illness here I'm not able to enjoy my modest species one, though I do feel the plant has never flowered as well as prior to it losing a major tap root a few winters back due to root rot Can't say I'm not often tempted to add more of the modern hybrids for their various colored flowers to make it a collection for myself .

Lovely!!! Keep up the great job. My favorite is the 7th photo .. The purple one. The 6th photo comes is 2nd for me. Are those grafts of different scions/blooms on one base caudex?

Mari Elena, this plant is a single graft that keeps throwing different color blooms, I think due to a difficult growing conditions. It has a white margin that is bigger on some flowers and almost nothing on others, lol. Here's how it blooms indoors

Three different color flowers from the same grafted scion? How? Can someone please explain this to me like I'm a 3-year-old? It makes no sense to me. That looks like 3 separate grafts.

Lol, Maria Elena, it is on single graft and I think it is due to extreme temps, but Rinoa has another one that puzzled me, it called tweety and flowers look totally different on it. I don't think Rinoa would sell double graft for a regular price, but here it is

Hard to say why this happens on some grafted plants. I think that the lower flower in photo (somewhat like Santa Claus) is the truest bloom and the other are all have subtle differences, but with the same coloration.

After the few plants that I have giving me either completely different blooms from one year to the next or a single and a double on one plant (same color). I am left at odds and just take what they through out at me. Enjoy them all. Sometimes it is a nice surprise.
