Just be careful about the composites and plastics because many people don't realize how hot they get. We're not here to bash any products so just make sure to read up on it. There are some studies on the newer pvc "capped composites" that are coming out about moisture.

That being said, Redwood will require just as much (and probably more) maintenance as an Ipe deck. If you want little maintenance there are ways to apply the sealer so there will be little maintenance.

Resysta is a HORRIBLE product. Warping is widespread (see pictures attached). I purchased this stuff directly from Resysta, so no excuses.

I completely agree. Resysta has been awful for us.
