Weird question about my Lucky Bamboo.

I have two bamboo I bought two years ago from school. I believe they are lucky bamboo. They have been together in the same cute little rock pot for a while. Today I noticed a little brown ball seed with a root and some green growing out of it. Did they have a baby? :D Also how do they reproduce? I also need need a name. The two plants are Cambriel and Winston. Than you!

Do you have a picture? Lucky Bamboo are actually Dracaena Sanderiana.
