We have lives in our house for almost 5 years and I am at a loss on what to do with this space. I'm sure it was designed to be an eat-in kitchen area but we do not use it as that because we have a dining room that is adjacent to it that faces the den.

I have thought about adding cabinetry to put the keriug on or do some sort of built in cabinet but just don't want it to over power the space. Also since this kitchen is fairly small I would love to use that space as a continuation of the kitchen if that makes sense.

Many advice is welcomed! Wish I knew what kind of design this kitchen is called and wish they would have flipped it so that the bar is facing the den area.
