Wish I had those in my yard Lilyfinch, they are gorgeous! I was able to get outdoors today as well we have had rain, rain everyday and more tomorrow!! I am thankful that it keeps our temps down, (little) but I have lost some of my hydrangeas and my one single rose is still hanging on. One day I hope to have a beautiful bed full of those. :)

Your 'Dames de Chenoceau' is an exquisite color. And 'Soul Sister' looks like its colors are similar. Too pretty.

Here is a very happy bee in my wild passion vine. I did hear they were hosts for butterflies and when I was trying to arrange the plant saw this awesome guy . Turns out he is a gulf fritillary and that's pretty neat! So once he matures he can head out front to my zinnia buffet

All beautiful, Lilyfinch! I'm crazy about Dames de Chenonceau and I'm thrilled to have found one, but she's still in her nursery pot. It's too hot to put her little feet in the ground. It's getting late in the season to plant here, so she might end up spending winter in the garage. Your passion vine blossom looks like the frayed edges of silk ribbon.

Flowers - I absolutely am head over garden clogs for dames! The scent is phenomenal! I cut two blooms and smell it just about every time I walk by . I bought mine from roses unlimited, is that where you bought yours ? I need to check its date to see when it can be propagated cause I want to root it a thousand times ! Mine is also still in its pot. I want it by seating for sure so I can enjoy its fragrance

That is so nice to hear, Lilyfinch. I know our zones are different, but I'm hoping she will do well here, too. I don't remember if Dames is rated to zone 5 or not, but I'm so thrilled to have her, I will give her a little extra care. Colette is rated z7b, yet I have one that has been with me for at least 10 years that never gets any winter protection. Go figure. Yes, I got mine from RU. I felt like a traitor because Carol at Northland is a friend of mine, but she would just laugh and tell me I'm crazy to feel that way. She's a peach!
