Looking to cover ugly tile in bathroom. How do you install this?

Hi! I have terrible tile in my rental home. Was wondering if this product is used to cover up preexisting tile. How do you install this product? I'm a newbie to this and looking for something that I will be able to remove later. Thanks

You cant really cover up old tile with new tile, amd wouldn't change anything in a rental without permission anyways. I feel your pain though!
